The Chinese government and companies have expressed interest in investing in both Lahore and Karachi. In all these circumstances, the government has constituted a board for the immediate acquisition of foreign investment. It has been informed that work on the River Ravi project in Lahore will start from January.

The Prime Minister directed to further accelerate the progress on the Ravi City project and said that the Ravi City project is the most unique and largest project of its kind in history.
