Rawalpindi, Islamabad administration talks with Oil Tankers Association failed, petrol pumps have one day stock

All Pakistan Oil Tankers Association (APOTA) has announced a strike in Rawalpindi Islamabad Division. After which there is a fear of petrol crisis in the country including Rawalpindi and Islamabad. According to details, supply of petrol has been suspended across the country after the strike. Sources said that after the strike, there is a possibility of shortage of petrol and increase in prices across the country.

If the Tankers Association continues its strike, the situation in the country could turn into June this year. The Oil Tankers Association has demanded the government to order the Rawalpindi administration to withdraw its order. Oil tankers were ordered to be restricted by the Rawalpindi administration from 10pm to 6am, after which the Oil Tankers Association called for a strike. It should be noted that a petroleum crisis had erupted across the country in June, on which the federal government had set up an inquiry committee.
